Answer: On fundoscopic exam, the optic nerve in the left eye would be expected to have an increased cup-to-disc ratio (CDR) (see lower right image), in contrast to the normal CDR of approximately 0.4 in the right eye (see lower left image with cup and disc circumscribed to demonstrate ratio of 0.4).
The elevated intraocular pressure, buphthalmos, and corneal edema in the left eye is most suggestive of congenital glaucoma.
